What to expect in 2026
No Mac app has announced its 2026 Black Friday price yet. The pattern has been stable for years: the big names cut 30% to 50% for a few days around Black Friday, and many smaller apps join with 20% to 50% codes. If a 2026 deal is smaller than last year's, it is worth waiting for Cyber Monday or the next sale.
Before you buy Mac software on Black Friday
- First year or every year? Most subscription deals only cut the first year. Parallels in 2025 applied the 50% to the first year or a full license only. Check the renewal price before you pay.
- Subscription or one-time license. Some apps still sell a one-time license, like CleanMyMac. Over three or more years it is usually the cheaper choice.
- Already a subscriber? Many codes are for new customers only. Look for an upgrade or renewal offer in your account instead.
- Compare with Setapp. If you want three or more Mac apps that are part of Setapp, one subscription can cost less than buying them one by one, even on Black Friday.
