What to expect in 2026
No 2026 prices are out yet. If the pattern holds, hosting deals start in October and run into December, while theme and plugin sales open a few days before Black Friday and close around Cyber Monday. Lifetime licenses like Divi's are the deal to watch: they are rarely discounted at any other time.
Before you buy WordPress tools on Black Friday
- Hosting: check the renewal price. The $2 a month prices need a two to four year term and renew at the standard price, which for Hostinger shared hosting was around $10 to $12 a month.
- Plugins: new purchase or renewal? Elementor excluded renewals in 2025. If your license is about to renew, an upgrade to a bigger plan during the sale can be cheaper than the renewal.
- Lifetime beats yearly if you will use it 3 years or more. Divi lifetime at $187 cost less than three years of yearly access at the deal price.
- Count your sites. Many plugin plans are priced by the number of sites. Buy for the sites you have, not the ones you might build.
